Google has just released two interesting new applications for Google Latitude.
Google Latitude debuted back in February via Google Mobile Maps and lets you share your location with friends and family members. Now, these two new applications will let you share your location with everyone else as well, if you so desire.
Google Talk location status will update your Google Talk (or Gmail) chat status message with your location via Latitude. You can update your status to your real-time location as you travel about and those with whom you are chatting will have the ability to see this as it happens.
The Google Public Location Badge will allow you to post your Latitude location directly onto your blog via your mobile phone. You can display only the city that you are presently in or you can pinpoint your location through your phone. Of course, privacy is an issue here so you can choose to share only your city-level location.
