Obama NCAA Bracket Predictions

When you get stuck trying to fill in your March Madness predictions, where do you turn? To the experts? To the sports websites? How about President Barack Obama?

He certainly isn’t getting much else accomplished these days, maybe he can help you with your NCAA picks.

Obama didn’t really go out on a limb, picking all of the number one seeds to make it to the Final Four…Kansas, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, and Duke.

He also went with Kansas to win the whole kit-and-kaboodle again this year, even though he admits the Jayhacks disappointed him in 2010.

“I picked Kansas last year to win it and I got hurt,” Obama said of the Jayhawks, who lost to Northern Iowa in the second round last year.

“But I am looking at those twins, the Morris brothers. I think they (Kansas) have depth, they have experience.”

Obama chose the country’s number-1-rated team, Ohio State, to make it to the final NCAA championship game along with Kansas.

“Ohio State looks terrific. That young guy in the middle knows how to play.”

Obama is also trying to get back on Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski‘s good side by picking the Blue Devils to make it to this year’s Final Four.

“Last year I did not pick Duke and coach K. gave me a hard time. So I’m going with Duke.”

Obama revealed his picks to ESPN, who took the opportunity to promote the presidential picsk as “Baracketology”.

The president loves to play hoops himself and had to get 12 stitches in his lip last year after he took a shot to the face on the court.
