Employees at the Jaks store at the Midway Mall in Sherman, Texas don’t know what to think.
When two workers there reported to work on Sunday morning, they found that a few blankets had been knocked off their shelves and were lying on the floor.
They decided to check the security camera footage – and they couldn’t believe what they saw.
Around 10 p.m. Saturday night, the blankets just sort of “popped” off the shelves by themselves and fell to the floor.
Rhonda Kohles says she took the call from her 2 employees on Sunday morning.
“To hear the scaredness in their voice, they were really freaked out about it,” Kohles said.
“Oh yeah, all day Sunday we just tried to make explanations for it, all day, but yeah it creeped us out.” said employee Ashley Hamons.
The footage shows one blanket pop off the shelf at 9:36 p.m., then at 10:19 p.m., two more blankets fall off.
“I’m thinking, you know, there’s a logical reason for these to fall off, but when we shake the blankets, we rattle the shelves, we push the shelves up and down trying to make them fall and they won’t, yeah it’s a little creepy then.” said Kohles.
Rhonda says they’ve considered every logical possibility to explain it, but have come up short so far.
