Our country’s politicians did it, so I guess the Vatican felt a little left out.
Today, the Vatican launched its very own channel on YouTube.
Google offers up a video clip from Father Federico Lombardi, S.I., Director of Vatican Radio, the Vatican Television Centre and the Holy See Press Office (located here) to explain the launch, however, the clip (strangely) is not in English. Better brush up your Italian if you want the full explanation.
Anyhow, for regular updates on the Pope, what meats we’re not allowed to eat during Lent THIS year, and the Catholic Church’s take on the major challeneges facing the world today, head on over and visit the Vatican on YouTube.
When asked for comment, Pope Benedict simply stated, “I hope they get my good side.”
