Ah, more taser fail madness.
A Cincinnati police officer is in hot water after he used a taser on woman who was on her knees with her hands in the air.
Celeste Thomas was a passenger in an automobile that was involved in an accident when Officer Anthony Plummer decided that her submission to his full authority wasn’t sufficient and proceeded to taser the woman.
“A preliminary review shows he is not in compliance with our standards and he is being investigated for unnecessary and excessive use of force,” Police Chief Thomas Streicher said.
It seems that this same officer has been the subject of many use-of-force complaints recently and was once even fired from the police force for that very reason. He was reinstated after an appeal.
This police officer, however, chose the wrong woman to piss off. Thomas “is a daughter of City Councilman Cecil Thomas, a former police officer who heads the council’s law and safety committee.”
So long officer, it was nice knowing you.
