Police in Lake County, Florida have some explaining to do after knocking on the wrong door and shooting and killing the man who answered.
Deputies were looking for attempted murder suspect Jonathan Brown, but somehow ended up at the wrong residence.
Andrew Scott, 26, answered the door and pointed a gun at the deputies, who reportedly did not identify themselves as being law enforcement officers.
Lt. John Herrell says the police officers saw Scott point the gun at them, so they opened fire and killed him.
Resident say the parties on both sides of the door were to blame.
