Paula Abdul wants to return to American Idol. Too bad it’s not up to her.
Paula Abdul‘s manager, David Sonenberg, recently stated that the producers of American Idol have yet to offer her a contract.
“Very sadly, it does not appear that she’s going to be back on ‘Idol‘,” Sonenberg said. “I find it under these circumstances particularly unusual; I think unnecessarily hurtful. I find it kind of unconscionable and certainly rude and disrespectful that they haven’t stepped up and said what they want to do.”
Randy Jackson, on the other hand, is signed on through 2011. Simon Cowell has one year remaining on his contract and Ryan Seacrest reportedly signed a new contract for a mind-boggling $45 million.
