British rock legend Paul McCartney appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman on Wednesday night, giving thousands of ecstatic fans a free show from high atop The Late Show’s marquis at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York.
The live performance included such big hits as Back in the U.S.S.R. and Get Back. Just imagine…It was about 45 years ago that The Beatles made their very first U.S. appearance at the Ed Sullivan Theater and sending the country into a total Beatles meltdown.
Below is some video captured from the live show along with some in-studio footage. It’s truly an amazing sight to behold…especially given that Sir Paul is a rocking 67 years old…
