British stuntman Gary Connery has achieved a world first, becoming the first skydiver in the world to land without using a parachute.
Connery jumped 2,400 feet from a helicopter using a specially adapted wing suit.
He jumped from the chopper, fell 2,400 feet, and landed in a pad made up of empty cardboard boxes.
Connery was overwhelmed after his safe landing, saying, “I haven’t really digested myself what’s happened. Absolutely amazing, I’m overwhelmed with the whole crew. I’m so choked with the turnout, it’s been an amazing experience.”
