I guess next time, Minnesota's Democratic Party will check all outbound links before issuing a news release.
On Thursday, the party recalled a statement in which it criticized Republican Gov. Tim Pawlenty due to the fact that the release linked out to that NSFW YouTube video of a Chinese grandmother repeating obscenities.
Andrew O'Leary, executive director of Minnesota's Democratic-Farmer-Labor Party, says that the link was posted by an outside researcher.
He says the party did not double check the links before sending the news release to the news media.
O'Leary says the party "obviously made a mistake." (Duh!)
The release challenged Pawlenty, a potential 2012 candidate for president, for his criticism President Barack Obama at a Republican National Committee meeting.
