In today’s recall happy environment, not even our beloved Girl Scout cookies are safe. There is now a Girl Scout cookie recall in effect.
Relax, it’s nothing major, and it doesn’t even affect any of the really cool flavors like “Samoas”. One of the newer flavors, Lemon Chalet Cremes, led to the recall.
Girl Scout Cookies manufacturer Little Brownie Bakers say that an oil used in the cookies is “breaking down” and causing a bad smell and / or taste in some Lemon Chalet Cremes. The cookies do not pose any health hazard if eaten.
