If the republicans do not actively embrace Social networking sites like Facebook, twitter, Mister Wong and more, they will continue to be in the political wilderness. Web 2.0 is hot.

I think the internet has benefited the election and the population in general. It allows people to get more involved in the debates of the day. It allows the citizenry to bypass the mainstream media and go directly to source data, avoiding the filter of the reporter's personal bias. And it has aided fundraising and communication for the campaigns.

All in all, a net benefit to society.

Exactly. I wasn't referring literally to Mister Wong, but more to the internet itself as a whole. It's definitely had a big impact on this election.

Chriss last blog post..Twttrstrm = Squidoo Turning Twitter into Yahoo Answers

@angela, I mister-wong is a social bookmarking service. I think the post is referring to the web 2.0 and the internet as an overall strategy that helped Obama gain momentum over Mccain.

I do think that it had a solid impact, with twitter, and mybarackobama.com. Listening to the pundits, the next question is to figure out how the internet will be used as a communication device while Obama is in office.

Immediate communication to the public could prove to be powerful and valuable...wonder how it will affect the White House Press Corps. -Sandy

Mr. Wong? I sure have a lot to learn. I have never heard of him. I will go click on the link and try to understand what Mr. Wong had to do with Obama's campaign.
