F My Life: It's Funny, It's True, Except When It Happens to You

Well, it was bound to happen. The "Birthers",as they have been called, finally have produced their smoking gun. A copy of the Obama Kenyan birth certificate has been found.

A Californian attorney, Orly Taitz, has just publicly released a copy of the birth certificate.

Taitz has filed a motion in the U.S. District Court to have the document authenticated, but as of right now at least, the birth certificate would appear to be authentic.

No doctor is listed on it, but the alleged certificate bears the signature of the deputy registrar of Coast Province, Joshua Simon Oduya.

It was allegedly used as a certified copy of the original in February 1964. It should be noted that copies of other birth certificated from Kenya are not currently available for purposes of comparison.

Despite the fact that a similar hoax document made its way around the internet last week, this document "bears none of the obvious traits of a hoax."
