New Yahoo Mobile iPhone App Launches

Today, Yahoo debuted its newly redesigned Yahoo Mobile site as well as its Yahoo Mobile iPhone Application.

The new mobile site features a more appealing interface, quick access to e-mail, local search, more personalization options and compatibility with Yahoo Messenger.

The iPhone app is even better, with more IM capabilities and photo-sharing and status update features added.

The new version of Yahoo Mobile is definitely leaps and bounds ahead of the old.

Yahoo Mobile and the Yahoo Mobile app seem to be Yahoo’s way of trying to make themselves your site of choice on the web for just about everything - news, search, sports, and social networking.

This is one heck of a big step in that direction.
