I admit, when I first heard that Neil Diamond had done an Adam Sandler cover, I was ready to scratch my eyes out with a rusty spoon. Then, I remembered, there is no spoon.
Upon further reflection, I decided to give the song a shot, and surprisingly, it’s not that bad. In fact, it’s pretty good.
It helps that it was produced by current Guns N’ Roses guitarist DJ Ashba. I guess the guys need something to do while Axl Rose is busy beating the shit out of the paparazzi.
