National Pancake Day 2011

If you love pancakes, then tomorrow is your lucky day.  IHOP‘s National Pancake Day 2011 happens this Tuesday and customers across the country can get a free short stack of pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. at participating IHOP location.

This marks the sixth year that IHOP has offered three free flapjacks in an effort to raise money for the Children’s Miracle Network.

IHOP has raised $5.35 million for the popular charity since 2006, including $2.1 million last year. For 2011, the company has set a goal of $2.3 million in donations.

Usually, IHOP holds Free Pancake Day on Shrove Tuesday (or Fat Tuesday), but this year they moved it up a week in order to “build buzz and excitement,” according to the company’s website.

To find an International House of Pancakes near you, just head on over to the handy IHOP locator.  Now, get out there and enjoy those free pancakes!
