Starting Wednesday, November 4th, and ending on Friday evening, November 6th, the lottery for the National Christmas Tree Lighting will be made open to the public.
Applicants can register at http://www.thenationaltree.org.
This year, the National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will take place on the Ellipse, just south of the White House, at 5:00 p.m. EST, on Thursday, December 3rd.
The ceremony marks the opening of the annual four-week President’s Park holiday event sponsored by the National Park Service and the National Park Foundation, the official charitable partner of America’s National Parks.
