What better way to burn off a little steam in January than to go for a naked run in our nation’s Capitol?

A man who took off all of his clothes and started jogging in frigid temperatures near the White House has been taken into custody will be receiving a mental evaluation.

The man was seen removing his clothes at around 5 p.m EST on Wednesday.  He then left his clothes near the Ellipse, the green space just to the south of the White House.

According to Secret Service spokesperson Darrin Blackford, the jog only lasted a minute or so before the man was caught. President Barack Obama was in White House at the time, but Blackford says the man didn’t make any threats. The duffel bag in which he left his clothing was thought to be suspicious, but it wound up merely containing the man’s clothes.

It is not yet known if the man will face any charges.
