Both Microsoft and Yahoo are laying claim to the term "My Phone".

Last week, Microsoft announced that its Skybox service would be renamed "MyPhone".

Now, on the iPhone section of the Yahoo website, detailing the revamped Yahoo Mobile service due to launch publicly in March, the company is using this headline in its marketing campaign:

From iPhone™ to “my” phone.

The iPhone trademark is taken but other mobile marketers are still trying to cash in.  Yesterday, Microsoft announced its own My Phone service for syncing data between your phone and desktop.

Very original guys.
