Muse has scored the official song of the 2012 London Olympics.
“Survival” is a grandiose, blistering anthem of determination and victory. The song is lighting up radio stations around the world today.
“Survival” will be played during the 2012 Olympic Games, which begin on July 27, as athletes enter the venues and also before medal ceremonies.
Muse frontman Matt Bellamy says the epic new song was written with the Olympic Games in mind and “expresses a sense of conviction and determination to win.”
Last month, the British rock trio carried the Olympic torch through their hometown of Teignmouth in southwest England.
