While Firefox 3.1 may have been delayed a bit, Mozilla says, “Never Fear!”
The company is sending out Firefox 3.0.6 to users this week.
Firefox 3.0.6, officially available as of right now, fixes several security and stability issues within the browser. It also (thankfully) corrects a couple of glitches. For one, many users were reporting parts of the browser window weren’t displaying correctly once Firefox had been open for prolonged periods of time.
The update should feature improved support for scripted commands within add-ons, such as Adblock Plus.
Firefox 3.x users will be automatically prompted to upgread to Firefox 3.0.6 within the next 48 hours. You can also get it manually by either going to getfirefox.com or clicking on the “Check for Updates” option within the Firefox help menu.
