Miss America 2011 Contestants

Football’s not your thing? Well, lucky for you, the Miss America 2011 competition takes place tonight, Saturday, January 15, 2011.

Yes, Miss Virginia, Caressa Cameron (the current Miss America), will have to pass on the torch to tonight’s lucky winner, but who will it be?

Who will be the 90th woman to ever be crowned Miss America?

So far, there have been three days of preliminary competition and it looks like there are already some favorites:

Miss Nebraska (Teresa Scanlan) won for talent playing the piano.

Miss Oklahoma (Emoly West) seems to have nailed the Lifestyle and Fitness category (A.K.A. swimsuit).

Miss Rhode Island (Deborah Saint-Vil) and Miss Alabama (Ashley Davis) did well, and so did Miss North Carolina (Adrienne Core) and Miss Hawaii (Jalee Fuselier).

You can view a full list of the Miss America 2011 contestants here and here.

So who is YOUR front-runner? The contest will be held at the Theatre for the Performing Arts in Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas.

The judges will be Joy Behar from ABC’s The View, Miss America 1990 Debbye Turner Bell, television executive producer Mark Cherry, dancer Tony Dovolani from Dancing with the Stars, actress Marilu Henner, orthopedic surgeon-and shoe designer Taryn Rose, and country singer Mark Wills.

You can watch the pageant tonight at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
