Your Miss America 2009 winner is 22-year-old Katie Stam, Miss Indiana.

“That beauty that you feel on the inside, it’s that confidence, that radiance inside of you, that’s what glamor is,” Stam said.
Katie Stam is a communications major at the University of Indianapolis and wants to be a weather girl broadcaster. She has interned at two Indianapolis TV stations.
She won a $50,000 scholarship and a full year of travel, complete with public appearances, of course.
The first runner-up was Miss Georgia Chasity Hardman.
