It’s nice to know that, all these many years later, after all the work that was done to counteract it, the “Google Bomb” known as the “Miserable Failure” is alive and well on Bing, thank you very much.
George Bush’s biography is currently number one in Bing. Google eventually rectified the situation algorithically, but Microsoft still has a bit of work to, apparently.
Behold, the power of inbound anchor text. It is obviously as powerful on Bing as it was on LiveSearch.
It’s also nice to see that Barack Obama is rated number three.

Also, be sure to try searching Bing for “Search Engine.”
Apparently, Yahoo and Ask are the two most important search engines in the world. There is no Google on page one, nor is there a Bing. The only large search engines listed are Yahoo and Ask, and they’re at the bottom of the page no less.
Nicely done, Bing!
