Miley Cyrus Raps about Quitting Twitter (VIDEO)

Miley Cyrus, why have you forsaken us? OK, maybe we really don’t care THAT much.

This week, Miley Cyrus wiped out her Twitter account due to the fact that the media was using her tweets to spy on her and write stories about the pop singer / actress.

Rather than just delete the account and leave it at that, thought, Miley felt the need to rap about it too…and make a video about it…and upload it to YouTube. Kind of a strange move for someone who’s supposedly so tired of being in the spotlight.

The rap is pretty much a train wreck, featuring such poetic lyrics as:

“The reasons are simple: I started tweeting about pimples. I stopped living for moments and started living for people.”

“Everything that I type and everything that I do, all those lame gossip sites take it and make it news.”

Interestingly, Cyrus’ father, Billy Ray Cyrus, urged her to go back to using Twitter via a tweet of his own on Thursday, saying “You can’t leave everyone now.We r countin on u.”
