Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick will be heading to Miami Beach for his wedding with longtime fiancee Kijafa Frink this June.
The couple’s wedding is set to take place on June 30th. They’ve been engaged since Vick popped the question back in December 2009. The June 2012 Michael Vick wedding will take place at the Fontainebleau hotel and resort in Miami Beach.
Invitations have already been sent to Vick and Frink’s approximately 300 guests, including Vick’s former mentor and former Colts and Buccaneers coach Tony Dungy, Vick’s current coach Andy Reid of the Philadelphia Eagles, Vick’s agent Joel Segal, and Eagles running back LeSean McCoy among others.
Frink has stood by her man’s side through some pretty rough times. She stayed with him during his 2008 dog fighting controversy, for which he was handed a three-year suspended sentence. Of his behavior, Vick said at the time, “I want to apologize to the court, my family, and to all the kids who looked up to me as a role model.”
Then, during Vick’s bankruptcy proceedings, he provided for Frink’s living arrangements despite selling three of his six residences.
Vick’s luck seems to be changing, though, as the QB is currently signed to the Eagles under a six year contract with $40 million guaranteed, and $100 million offered over the life of the contract.
Frink is co-owner of accessories line and boutique PNK Elephant.
Together they have three children.
