Michael Jordan gave an emotional speech during his Hall of Fame induction ceremony in Springfield, Mass. on Friday. It was an ideal setting for a true basketball legend and a fantastic speech by Jordan.
In the speech, Jordan discussed his childhood, the beginning of his basketball career and thanked the people that helped him out along the way.
He also revealed why he decided to have David Thompson to induct him, and why he singled out rivals in the game like as Isiah Thomas, Magic Johnson and George Gervin.
The best line from the speech was when Jordan said, “Don’t be in a rush to find the next Michael Jordan, there’s not going to be another Michael Jordan.”
