Authorities investigating the death of Michael Jackson now plan to arrest Dr. Conrad Murray based on the fact that he gave Jackson an injection of the powerful prescription drug Propofol, which is alleged to have been the cause of his death back on June 25th.
Investigators originally planned to take the doctor into custody early next week but now plan to get one additional search warrant to obtain more evidence before pressing on with the arrest.

Murray, who has allegedly admitted to police that he gave the injection, was originally going to be charged with 2nd degree murder, but police don’t believe that they have enough evidence.
Dr. Arnold Klein, who was Michael Jackson’s skin doctor, will also be facing medical malpractice charges over the pop singer’s drug addiction, but he won’t be arrested for several more weeks while authorities gather more evidence against him.
Despite these reports, a spokeswoman for the L.A. District Attorney’s office denied the fact that prosecutors plan to charge Michael Jackson’s doctors.
She stated: “Until police complete their investigation and bring it to our office, there is no way to know what charges may be filed and against whom.”
Earlier this week, Dr. Conrad Murray issued a video online speaking about the ordeal.
In the clip he says: “I have done all I could do, I told the truth, and I have faith the truth will prevail. Because of all that is going on, I’m afraid to return phone calls or use my email. Therefore, I recorded this video to let all of you know that I have been receiving the messages.”
