Melodi Dushane Punches McDonald's Drive Thru Window Due to Lack of McNuggets

An Ohio woman allegedly punched through a McDonald’s drive-through window after being told that there were no Chicken McNuggets. She appeared in court on Saturday a charge of felony vandalism.

Melodi Dushane, 24, of Toledo became “upset that chicken nuggets weren’t available” and “punched out the drive-through window,” according to police reports.

Police were called to the restaurant on Friday and Dushane was arrested. She was treated for minor injuries before being booked into the Lucas County jail.

Dushane pleaded not guilty to the charge on Saturday and was released on a supervised recognizance bond. She was ordered not to have any contact whatsoever with the restaurant and will appear in court again on January 28.
