On April 29, 2009, Matt Giraud was sent home on American Idol.
On the results show, we saw guest performances from Natalie Cole, Taylor Hicks, and Jamie Foxx.
Simon says after watching last night’s show again, he thinks that everyone did a great job and says that it possibly was the best Top 5 show in Idol history.
The contestants then sing “It Don’t Mean a Thing” and “I Got Rhythm.”
In the end, someone had to hit the road.
It was Matt’s time and his fifteen minutes of fame are up.
Your American Idol Top 4 for 2009 are,
Kris Allen
Danny Gokey
Allison Iraheta
Adam Lambert
Next week will be Rock N’ Roll week. Hold on to your hats because Slash, formerly of Guns N’ Roses, will mentor the 4 remaining idols. Now THAT is a scary thought!
