Mark Buehrle of the Chicago White Sox made an absolutely amazing defensive play during Monday’s game against the Cleveland Indians.
Buehrle fielded a batted ball off of his foot, ran over to the first base side to grab it, took the ball with his glove and somehow made the flip to Paul Konerko at first base who bare-handed the ball to get the out.
“He got the play of the year on Opening Day,” one announcer said.
