I used to have a crush on Mariah Carey. After hearing about some of her bat-shit crazy antics over the past few years, I’m over it.
Mariah Carey has requested to have 20 white kittens at a “switching on the Christmas lights” ceremony. The request has been denied.
It seems Carey wanted the young cats (and 100 white doves to boot!) to accompany her at a ceremony at Westfield shopping center in London.
Get this – she also wants to be showered with butterfly-shaped confetti (her favorite insect) while standing on a pink podium and waving a magic wand. Yes, a freaking magic wand!
The diva will arrive in a Rolls Royce and be accompanied by mere a 80 security guards and her 15-person entourage.
Most of her demands have been met, but health and safety officials refused to provide the kittens and doves, as animals are forbidden in the complex.
Rumor has it that the type of car had to be changed six times until one was found that he people approved of.
Mariah Carey, who will appear on UK talent show “The X Factor” this weekend, recently admitted she loves being a diva, but – she doesn’t think she is demanding enough.
She said, “You know what? I guess I am a diva in many ways! When it comes to certain things, yes, I can be difficult and a little bit rigid about what I want.
“Am I demanding? I don’t think I’m demanding enough.”
Time for me to find another fantasy. Maybe Paris Hilton. She seems pretty sane.
