Superman Man of SteelThe first official trailer has arrived for the Superman reboot “Man of Steel,” starring Henry Cavill.  The trailer is being shown ahead of “The Dark Knight Rises.”

This film looks to be a much darker take on the DC Comics superhero, which isn’t surprising given that it was produced by the director of “The Dark Knight” trilogy director Christopher Nolan.

There are two versions of the trailer – one in which the voiceover is done by Kevin Costner, who plays Clark Kent’s earthly father Jonathan Kent, and a second in which the voiceover is done by Russell Crowe, who plays Superman’s Kryptonian father, Jor-El.

Jonathan Kent (Coster): You’re not just anyone. One day, you’re going to have to make a choice. You have to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be. Whoever that man is, good character or bad, is going to change the world.

Jor-El (Crowe): You will give the people an ideal to strive towards. They will race behind you, they will stumble, they will fall. But in time, they will join you in the sun. In time, you will help them accomplish wonders.

“Man of Steel” hits theaters on June 14, 2013.

This new trailer is pretty hot – it’s already been viewed over half a million times since being uploaded yesterday.
