Man Marries Video Game Girlfriend (VIDEO)

Last week, a man named Sal9000 got married.  This wasn’t just any old wedding, mind you.

Sal9000 married the love of his life, Nene Anegasaki.  The only place Nene exists is within the confines of the Nintendo DS video game Love Plus.

The wedding was held at a Make: Japan meet-up held at the Tokyo Institute of Technology.  A live audience witnessed the wedding, which even featured the bride’s video game girlfriend making a speech.

The event was livecast on Nico Nico Douga, a popular video sharing website.

I guess the real advantage here is being able to “turn on” your woman any time you want, literally.
