Lonnie Holloway loved two things…his 1973 Pontiac Catalina and his guns. The 90-year-old loved them so much, in fact, that he took them with him to the grave.
Holloway passed away on September 3rd and his burial wishes were carried out in full. Following a memorial service at Rock Hill Baptist Church in Saluda, attendees watched as a wrecker lowered the 1973 Catalina into Holloway’s grave. Family and friends are apparently used to eccentric behavior from Lonnie Holloway, calling him a “stylin’ and profilin’ type guy.”
Let’s not forget about the guns. Holloway took his mini-arsenal to the grave as well:
Friends placed all of his guns in the trunk of the car. They tell News19 that he didn’t want them to get into the wrong hands, so he wanted to take them with him.
Well, at least now everyone knows where to find them. Good idea…or “grave” mistake (sorry)?
