Google has launched AdSense for Mobile Search.

This enables mobile website developers to place a Google search box on their sites. The search box can be co-branded with a site's brand and logo. They can generate revenue through the text link ads included in the search results.

Mobile phone users will get instant access to Google search including comprehensive web search, local, image, and news results — all formatted for their phones. Mobile operators and website owners share in the ad revenue generated by searches originating from their sites.

The program is currently available as a beta-test only. If you would like to become a beta-tester, click here to apply.

In December of last year, Google began offering mobile AdWords offerings for the iPhone and G1, so this seems like the next logical step.

I highly recommend Secrets of Adsense 2009 if you want to learn how you can make more money with Adsense this year.
