It had been long-rumored that Madonna would make an appearance on SNL. Last night, those rumors proved to be true when she showed up alongside Lady Gaga and Ryan Reynolds.
In what is becoming a phenomenon on Saturday Night Live, Lady Gaga dropped an S-Bomb (“Dancing to that s–t on the radio”) during her first performance. She also popped up in Kenan Thompson‘s house-music sketches.
Lady Gaga and Madonna had a mini-cat-fight as well.
Other celebrities to make an appearance included Scarlett Johansen during a phony commercial for “porcelain fountains”, and Elijah Wood in an Andy Samberg hiphop spoof that just might have been the funniest part of the whole evening.
SNL even managed to sneak in a couple of David Letterman jokes. On Seth Meyers‘ “Weekend Update” segment, the 48 Hours producer tried a Stupid Human Trick, he said, and following sex, Letterman says “Stay tuned for Craig Ferguson.”
