Speaking at LeMoyne-Owens College in Memphis, Tennessee, Nation Of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan seemed to drop a bombshell when he proclaimed that people would “kill their leaders” in a few days.
Farrakhan was speaking on the topic of leadership and mentioned that leaders have, for years, been printing money that has no value.
He said that one cannot love money and all the things that come with it more than one loves the advancement of his people and society.
“People tomorrow, maybe in a few days, are going to kill their leaders,” Farrakhan continued. “That’s why we’re in the shape that we’re in right now, because we have corrupt people, or people who started off good, and got corrupted.”
While, in many ways, these sound like the ramblings of a madman, he also makes some very good points – not about killing your leaders, but about how corruption has ruined much of society today.
