New Jersey police are trying to figure out who fired a bullet that hit the home of CNN commentator Lou Dobbs. His wife was standing nearby at the time of the incident.
Sgt. Stephen Jones states that Dobbs’ wife and driver were outside of the house on October 5th when they both heard a gunshot. The bullet failed to penetrate the home’s siding and dropped to the ground.
Dobbs discussed the incident earlier this week on CNN as well as on his radio show.
Dobbs had reportedly been getting harassing telephone calls for several weeks prior to the incident. On his radio show, he theorized that the bullet was connected to his support of a crackdown on illegal immigration.
Lou Dobbs’ home is on a farm in Wantage, which lies approximately 50 miles northwest of New York City.
