IT’S FINALLY HERE: LOST: The Complete Collection
It was very hard for me to type that headline. LOST is easily my favorite show on television and knowing that it now has an actual end date pains me greatly.
Nonetheless, Carton Cuse and Damon Lindelof sat down with Jimmy Kimmel last night on Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss the final season, as well as last night’s season premiere.
It’s obvious with these interviews that Kimmel is not merely just hawking another ABC product. He is an avid fan of the show.
He grilled the producers and got some surprising pieces of information from the dynamic duo.
Asking a series of “coincidence or fate” questions, Kimmel queried, “As soon as we see Charlie, Desmond disappears.” “Coincidence,” say Cuse and Lindelof.
“Michael and Walt were not on the plane.”
“Fate,” they reply.
The producers also stated that it was “significant” that Jack only got one mini-bottle of vodka on the plane, versus two bottles in the show’s pilot. This elicited a soft buzz from the studio audience.
