The long wait is finally over. My favorite TV show – the marketing machine that is LOST – returns.
That’s right, LOST Season 5 begins on ABC tonight.
As we’ve been used to in the past, the LOST premiere will begin with an hour-long recap covering the previous seasons with an emphasis on the latest events. Then, the first two new episodes in LOST Season 5, titled “Because You Left” and “The Lie,” will air. The upcoming 17-hour-long season is set to focus on the Oceanic 6 trying to get back to the island.
Not to worry, the people on the island will get a good chunk of screen time too. In case you are wondering how long we will have to wait to know what happened to the island, spoilers say that we will learn the island’s fate in the premiere of LOST Season 5 – did it move forward or backward in time, did it move to another location on the planet or else?
It’s no secret that the idea of time travel was going to play a role in LOST’s final two seasons. It was hinted at heavily in season four and then Ben actually did it, jumping into the future after giving the “Big Wheel” a push.
Rumor has it that as LOST opens, suffice to say that you’re pretty much not allowed to blink your eyes because it makes your jaw drop the same way that it did when we found out that Jack and Kate’s “we have to go back” conversation was a flash-forward.
TVSquad.com says:
Without giving away how the plot unfolds as the season opens, suffice to say that you’re pretty much not allowed to blink your eyes because it makes your jaw drop the same way that it did when we found out that Jack and Kate’s “we have to go back” conversation was a flash-forward. It can be confusing at times, but once you grasp it, prepare to get a headache.
