‘Tis the season, you say? Apparently not in Wisconsin, where a 100-year-old Walmart greeter is recovering after being shoved by an angry customer. Lois Speelman plans to return to work after injuring her head in the incident.
Speelman was pushed on Sunday by a 37-year-old customer who was upset that she needed to check and see if she paid for the water bottles she had in her shopping cart.
The customer was arrested and police are now investigating the attack.
Speelman wound up hitting her head and was taken to a hospital where she had a CAT scan and was later released. She says she’s bruised up but hopes to return to work on Thursday.
Speelman says she works at Walmart about five days per week because she needs the money. She celebrated her 100th birthday at the store in August.
