There aren't many Trekkies out there who aren't at least a little jazzed up about the release of the new J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie. This is a franchise that was almost all but destroyed by Rick Berman, so getting a "reboot" is just what the doctor ordered.
The fact that a genius like J.J. Abrams is now at the helm is an added bonus. This reboot is sure to be uber-cool.
The folks at Google are apparently pretty excited too. They have have just added Stardate functionality to the Google Calendar service.
You can see this new feature right on the Google Calendar homepage, right beneath the day of the week and date.
So set phasers on stun and go check it out now.
