OK, you’re good now?
About 6.5 million encrypted LinkedIn passwords have been leaked, according to Norwegian IT site Dagens IT.
The passwords were posted and shared via a Russian hacker site, and security researcher Per Thorsheim confirms that the leak is legit.
While LinkedIn seems to be unable to verify the hack for some reason, Robert David Graham with Errata Security has confirmed that it’s legit and wrote a blog post explaining how he verified it.
If you were procrastinating before and still haven’t changed your LinkedIn password, go do it now.
