Ever since Rep. Todd Akin made those controversial comments about “legitimate rape” somehow magically shutting down a woman’s reproductive processes, he’s found himself awash in controversy – and for good reason.
To think that a woman’s reproductive system somehow knows that it’s supposed to shut down during “legitimate rape” is beyond ludicrous.
This parody ad pokes a little more fun at Akin, presenting legitimate rape as an affordable alternative form of birth control.
It’s important to note that this “ad” is not poking fun at rape, but merely reinforcing how preposterous Akin’s claims are.
