Sometimes, frustration just gets the best of you.  LeGarrette Blount is a football player for the University of Oregon.  On Thursday, he delivered a sucker punch to Boise State’s Byron Hout after Oregon’s dreadful loss in the first game of the college football season.

Emotions were no doubt running high, and LeGarrette Blount is only 22 years old, so the punch probably won’t ruin his reputation, but he’ll probably be booted off of the team.

Blount apologized, saying it would never happen again, but Oregon head coach Chip Kelly will likely need to make an example of him.  The Ducks running back will also be lucky if he isn’t arrested and charged with assault.

He has already returned from one suspension this year, an academic incident that prevented him from attending spring practices. Sucker punching an opposing player, taking a swing at a teammate, and trying to jump into the stands after the opposing team’s fans is another thing altogether.

Legarrette Blount will definitely be suspended for the foreseeable future, if not the entire rest of his senior season.
