It’s a big weekend for weddings.
After being engaged for five years, actress and MTV VJ LaLa Vazquez and NBA star Carmelo Anthony got married in New York on Saturday.
Their 3-year-old son, Kiyan, escorted the happy couple down the aisle.
There were about 320 guests in attendance, including Kim Kardashian and Ciara. Vazquez walked down the aisle wearing a Vera Wang wedding gown.
Anthony popped the question back in 2005 with an 8-carat diamond, then added another 2 & 1/2 carats.
As they were preparing for the big day, LaLa Vazquez joked that planning the ceremony was taking its toll on her, even though professional planner Mindy Weiss was handing most of the day-to-day details.
“I’m seeing the pre-wedding stress increase. The guest list went from this to that [indicating larger]. I’m trying to control it. It’s, like, over the top now!”
