F My Life: It's Funny, It's True, Except When It Happens to You

Kurt Warner

The ride is over for Kurt Warner.

In a press conference today, the Arizona Cardinals quarterback announced his retirement. He's been playing in the NFL for twelve seasons, but at 38 years old, he's decided that it's time for the curtain to come down.

This season was especially difficult for Warner. He suffered some injuries, and he knew in his last playoff game against the New Orleans Saints that his career was ending.

Kurt Warner is keeping quite about his future plans.

So what does this mean for the future of the Arizona Cardinals? If I had to guess, I would think Matt Leinart would finally get to step up to the QB position.

Of course, the rumors are already circulating as to who his back-up QB might be. Some think it could be Michael Vick.

Check out this video history of Kurt Warner's football career below.
