F My Life: It's Funny, It's True, Except When It Happens to You

This week on American Idol, it was disco week so break out those bell-bottoms.

Kris Allen was probably the most original of all the performers tonight singing a truly unique version of "She Works Hard for the Money" by Donna Summer.

Kris said he picked the song because it had something to say and admitted he was a bit worried about this week's theme.

Kara said that she enjoyed it and that it was a big risk. Paula Abdul liked the Santana feel to it and liked how he went "shopping in the womens department" and found a great fit.

Simon said Kris was very original and called it a fantastic performance. Randy said he was ready for the big time, "dawg".
