After more than ten years of uncertainty, Hugh Hefner is looking to officially end his relationship with Kimberly Conrad Hefner. “The Hef” filed for divorce on Friday from his wife and former Playmate.

Hefner is hoping that the judge will have him pay Kimberly Conrad Hefner $20,000 per month in support. That would equal just half of the $40,000 per month that he has been giving her since they decided to separate back in 1998.

He also would like for the payments to end in 24 months, or once a divorce hearing is held, whichever occurs first.

Hefner, 83, currently lives with three different women at the Playboy Mansion.

Hugh and Kimberly Conrad Hefner tied the knot in 1989, when she became Playmate of the Year. They then separated in 1998. Hefner lived at the mansion while Kimberly got a house next door with their two boys.

Kimberly did seek a divorce at the time but that petition was eventually withdrawn.

She sued Hefner last month, claiming he owes her $4 million under the terms of their prenuptial agreement and also for proceeds from the sale of the house in which she is living. Her suit claims that Hefner agreed to pay her $250,000 per year for every year they were married after their fourth anniversary.
